This bass is still experimental, the second of it’s type. The first had a tone bar and sound post. This one has two tone bars  and no sound post.    The tone has improved dramatically and we   will have a sound sample soon.  The neck and body rest demount for airline transport.

Kalantas Cedar top with Purpleheart fingerboard and peg box veneers. Victorian Blackwood back and sides, Kwila body rest and Maple bridge. Arco fingerboard with D’Addario Helicore Pizz. strings.  Plain nut and scroll peg box with Schaller style tuners and my EUB onboard pre amp and two piezo pickups.  Wittner tailpiece, Kay endpin.
